San Francisco Bay area Coco Delice Fine Chocolates garnered widespread acclaim as one of the top chocolatiers in the region. Yet the company encountered two prominent challenges in the highly competitive chocolate market.  Consumers frequently failed to differentiate Coco Delice's ultra-premium products from lower-quality brands. Additionally, despite increasing consumer preference for locally made products, the brand's roots in Oakland remained mostly unknown. 

 

Consequently, I created the "Born in Oakland Inspired By France" campaign. I engaged a design firm to create illustrations combining images of the iconic cranes in the Port of Oakland along with some flying chocolates. The result playfully highlighted the brand's connection to classic French chocolate-making traditions and its local origins as well. .

 

Additionally, I authored a wide range of catalogue and promotional materials for wholesale accounts and consumer retail.
